Parenting Children with Special Needs Inc. (PCWSN Charity), is a MO 501(c)(3) organization (#21795223) dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of local families who have a child with challenges that are associated with a medical diagnosis. We empower these special families by providing them funding, educational resources, community awareness, and support.
Among the programs funded by PCWSN Charity are the Parks Program, which funds the installation of accessible playground equipment, and the Santa’s Miracle Program to bring gifts and good cheer to chronically or terminally ill children and their families. PCWSN Charity also hosts community events, and provides individual grants for technology assistance, mobility or medical equipment needs, such as sensory room makeovers, wheelchair accessible ramps, and emergency travel. All programs benefit Kansas City-area families.
